ARTHROSCOPY SURGERY

Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure orthopedic surgeons use to visualize, diagnose and treat problems inside a joint. This form of surgery is much less intrusive since the orthopedic surgeon is able to see the interior of the joint through a very small incision rather than a large incision needed for surgery. Arthroscopy surgery is used most often for knees, shoulders, elbows, ankles and wrists.
