Richard Slagle, M.D.

Dr. Slagle received his Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College in 1986 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in biology. He then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1990. He completed his General Surgery internship at Abington Memorial Hospital and his orthopedic surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 1995.

As part of his residency program, Dr. Slagle was involved in Pediatric Crippled Children's Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Slagle is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society. Prior to joining Lebanon Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Slagle practiced in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, where he served as Team Physician for Juniata College and Medical Director of the Physical Therapy and Sport Medicine Program at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital. Dr. Slagle is certified in Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation, which is the latest technology in cartilage regeneration and transplantation.
